緒　言

　眼窩腫瘍の診断に関しては従来より超音波シンチグラム，眼窩静脈撮影法，X線単純撮影等が行なわれていたがいずれも一長一短がある。

　1972年英国にてコンピューター断層装置がEMI-Scannerとして発表されて以来その優位性により脳神経外科学のみならず眼科領域においても賞用されつつある。今回著者らは，確診困難であつた乳癌原発と思われる眼窩漏斗尖端部癌腫についてCT-Scannerにより確診を得，外科的治療を行なつた。

A 37-year-old female manifested paralysis of medial rectus, superior oblique and inferior oblique muscles in the left eye with moderate mydriasis and absent pupillary reflex. Visual acuity and visual field was normal in both eyes. Both eyes were equally proptotic at 15 mm. Intraocular pressure and the fundus were normal. A-scan ultrasonography showed a small abnormal spike in the retrobulbar space. Scintigraphy with ⁶⁷Ga-citrate showed a slightly increased concen-tration in the left orbital region. Through com-puted tomography with ACTA scan, we detected a localized orbital tumor.
