硝子体手術に関する臨床的研究（その3）—Eales病に対する手術成績

Clinical study on vitreous surgery: Part 3 Surgical results on vitreous pathologies due to Eales' disease

緒　言

　前報において，著者らは重症糖尿病性網膜症に対するpars plana vitrectomyの手術成績について報告したが，その手術成績はきわめて不良であり，視力の向上が得られる症例は30％以下であつた。今回は，Eales病による硝子体病変に対しpars plana vitrectomyを行つた結果を報告する。

We treated 7 cases with vitreous pathologiesdue to Eales' disease by means of pars plana vitrectomy using a VISC Ⅶ. Vitrectomy was aimed at removal of vitreous hemorrhage, opa-que and detached posterior vitreous membrane or vitreous traction resulting in retinal detach-ment.

Significant improvements in visual acuity was obtained in 5 out of the 7 treated eyes. Three of the 5 eyes regained useful vision of more than 6/20. Two of the 5 cases developed postopera-tive complications: one was complicated cataract and the other was increased intraocular pressure.
