眼科における術前麻酔について

Studies on pre-operative anesthesia in ocular surgery

まえがき

　従来わが眼科においては，手術の大部分が局所麻痺によつて行われ，特別の場合のみ稀に全身麻酔が行われて来たのである。

　併し乍ら今迄よく用いられた吸入麻酔による全身麻酔は眼科手術の特異性のために，手術時いろいろと術者に不便を与え，そのために静脈注射などによる麻酔法が期待されたのである。ところで最近においては各手術の術前に種々の薬剤を投与し，精神の安静，反射亢奮性の低下，分泌の抑制などを求めるに至つたが，私共の此処に利用したのは単なる術前投与による精神安静，疼痛緩解のみならず全身麻酔に近い状態をも期待したのである。殊に緑内障の如き疼痛を著しく訴える患者に対しては，無意識のうちに手術の終了される事は極めて望ましい点である。

The authors used phenobal-scopolamin as the agent of pre-operative anesthesia in ocular surgery. The effects were investigated from both sides of subjective side and objective side. The results were as follows.

1) In 41 cases which riceived various ocular surgery, 31 cases kept tranquility and feltno pain through entire course of the operation. Besides, 3 cases felt pain and 1 case showed remarkable excitement.

2) Secondary reaction was almost negative to blood pressure, respiration, pulse and body temperature.
