Intracapsular cataract extraction by pressure method with alpha-chymotrypsin

　この映画はキモトリプシンと圧迫法とを併用した，白内障嚢内摘出術の映画である。この術式の採用により，嚢内摘出術は，昔の嚢外摘出術のレベルまで容易になり，且つコンスタントの成果を収めうるようになつた。

　この映画は，カメラのレンズを通常の術者の眼の来る位置へおいてとつてある。且つすべての手術の動作を，最初から最後まで一つも省略することなしに収めている。従つてすべては画面が説明してくれる通りである。

This is an exhibition of a film showing the intracapsular cataract extraction by pressure method with α-chymotrypsin. This method simplifies the intracapsular extraction and is as easy as classical extracapsular technique. Description of the technique is found in the paper entitled "Use of alpha-chymotrypsin in cataract surgery with special reference to the duration of application" by the same authors which appeard in the Tokusima Journal of Experimental Medicine, 7 : 104-108, 1960.
