近年糖尿病患者は増加の一途を辿りつつあるが,食餌療法と相俟つて薬物療法も進歩し,よく血糖をコントロールできる様になつた。併しその合併症は糖尿病治療中重大関心事となり,我が眼科領域に於ても予後不良の事が屡々あり,この治療は極めて困難を伴うようである。我々は一若年者糖尿病の血糖はよくコントロールされたにも関らず,糖尿病性網膜症ば特異の経過をたどり急速に悪化した例を経験したので茲に報告する。
The authors experienced a case of juvenile diabetic retinopathy which followed a pecu-liar course and became worse rapidly in spite of good control of blood sugar. The patient was a twenty-year-yld woman and had been suffering for six years from diabetes. During the period of seven months, the retinopathy indicated various stages microaneurysma and punctate hemorrhages, radial hemorrhages and exsudates, remarkable retinal rubeosis, retinal and vitreous hemorrhages, and retinitis proliferans, and at last she became blind. She was treated with the injection of insulin, administration of lastinon and regulation of carbohydrate.
