上眼瞼縁間部に発生せる梅毒性肉芽腫の1例

A case of syphilitic granulom produced on the intermarginal part of the upper palpebra

緒言

　眼瞼に表在性糜爛を来し，次いで麦粒腫状の硬結を作り，更に悪性腫瘍を思わせる巨大な肉芽腫を形成し，之を摘出するに著明な梅毒性円形潰瘍を招来する等，甚だ興味ある経過を取つた眼瞼梅毒腫の1例を報告する。

The author reports a rare case of syphilitic granuloma on the upper lid-margin of a five-year-old male infant.

The tumor of thumb-tip size was dark violet, moist, granular and apt to bleed. It was partly covered by crust, hard in consistency and had on necrotic focus. A swelling of parotid gland was marked. Histopathologic and serologic examinations revealed that was syphilitic.

After the tumor was removed, an ulcer extending from the operated section to the upper eyelid and the outer canthus was formed, and a white-yellowish hard oedema arose from the upper fornix.

Both the symptoms were cured by the anti-luetic treatment.
