涙小管鼻腔吻合術について

Experiences in canaliculorhinostomy

まえがき

　涙嚢炎乃至鼻涙管閉塞による流涙の処置として，涙嚢鼻腔吻合術が優れた治療法であることは，既に古くより認められており，我国に於ても，最近ようやく一般におこなわれるにいたつた。本術式による効果が機能的にすぐれていることは，荒木^1）及び田島^2）の報告にもみられる如くである。

　この手術に当つては，涙小管及び涙嚢に閉塞がない場合は，まず問題はない。ただ，涙嚢が既に欠損している場合は，涙小管鼻腔吻合術が必要となつて来る。

The canaliculorhinostomy in cases of absence of the sac that was first reported by H. Arruga in 1935, is considered to be powerful treatment for the epiphora in these cases. Hence, some methods including intranasal procedure have been reported.

Recognizing the functional superiority of dacryocystorhinostomy, I have tried to perform the canaliculorhinostomy which has not been reported yet in our country, against 2 cases in which 8 or 9 years have passed respectively after the extirpation of the sac and epiphora has been still remarkable.
