眼領域におけるResochinの使用経験（1）

Effect of Resochin in eye diseases (1)

　Resochinは1934年Ausdrag，Breitue，Jung等により合成され，化学的にはAtebrin類似する燐酸クロキン〔7-chlor-4(4-diaethyl-amino-1-methyl-butylamino)-chinon〕である。

本剤はWalter，Kikuth等により，1938年抗マラリア剤として有効なことが立証されたまま大戦の終結を迎え，偶然の機会にPage等（1952）がAtebrinをエリテマトーデス及びリウマチに使用したことにより本剤も又エリテマトーデス（Finn，Goldman 1953），リウマチ（Hayda1953）をはじめ光線性皮膚炎（酒皶）（Tat 1955）にも可成りの効果があると云われている。

　Resochin (Bayer) was applied to 18 cases of allergic ocular deseases (scleritis : 5, phlyctenular conjunctivitis : 7, vernal conjunctivitis ; 6) and obtained successful results in scleritis, phlyctenular cojunctivitis while the vernal conjunctivitis the effect was contrary to expectation.

　Initially, doses 1 to 3 tablets per day were used, it was applied 7 to 25 days and total dosages employed were from 14 to 63 tablets.

　In this series no side effect to the administration of Resochin were observed except 2 cases in which anorexie appeared within 5 to 10 days, usually disappeared after decreased dosages.
