無脳児の眼所見

The opthalmic findings of 2 cases anencephaly

　胎児の頭蓋および脳の発育異常である無脳児は比較的まれな奇型であり，その発生原因は未だ明らかでない。わが国におけるこのものの眼領域での報告は極めて少く，大石貞夫（大2）が眼球突出のあることを述べ，宇山安夫（大14）がはじめて眼球を組織的に検索しその標本を供覧している。私は最近本症の2例を剖検する機会を得たのでここに報告する。

The authors clinic had 2 cases of anencephaly in the full-term foetus, one is female the other male.

In these cases there is failure of the brain above the level of the medulla, the bones of the vault of the skull as well.

In the opthalmorogic finding, the male right eye ball is the cystic, the left eye ball and female bilateral eyes seems are normal, with the exception of inner layers of the retina and the optic nerve, There is no chiasma, the ganglion cells are absent, the nerve fiber layer and the limitance interna are lacking.
