アルカリ性糞便菌による角膜輪状膿瘍

The corneal ringabscess occured by the Bac. al. marshalli

　外傷による眼障害は非常に多い様である。

　茲に述べる例は，単純な鉄片外傷によるものであるが，同時に眼内に侵入した，比較的稀とされるアルカリ性糞便菌の同時感染によつて，典型的な輪状膿瘍の像を呈し，遂に眼球内容除去の止むなきに至つた1例を経験したので報告する。

Ring abscess of cornea due to Bac. al. marshalli.

A typical ring abscess of cornea in a 22 years old male (factory worker) oceured within 36 hours after trauma with a iron piece was reported.

Bacteriological and serological examinations revealed that the bacilli which were cultur-ed from the pus in eye ball were Bac. al. marshalli. Even nonpathogenic bacilli such as Bac. al. marshalli were able to show phathogenity under the optimal condition.
