非網膜剥離眼に於ける網膜裂孔及び嚢状変性について—（第2報）最高度近視眼に於ける検索成績

Clinical tears and cystoid degeneration in the retina without detachment:(Part Ⅱ) Results on Extensive Studies on High Myopics over -11D

I．緒言

　第1報に引続き今回は−11D以上の最高度近視眼に於ける検索成績について報告する。

　蓋し後述の如く，又周知の如く，最高度近視眼の網膜剥離（以下剥離と略称）発生率は高いので，その予防殊に所謂フカラ手術に当つては，特にその眼底所見は重要であり，更に剥離発生機転の究明に役立てんが為である。

1. Ophthalmoscopic investigations of the eyeground were conducted on 163 patients (259 eyes) of high myopics without retinal detachment, over -11D, from 1947 to the present. The following results were obtained. A total of 85 eyes (32.8%) showed damaged eyegrounds : with 12 eyes (4.6%) of tears, only ; 57 eyes (22%) cystoid degeneration, only ; 16 eyes (6. 2%) tears + cystoid degeneration.
