Cataracts Treated by Instilling "Succus Cineraris Martima" in the Eye (Continued Report 2)

　本剤の溷濁水晶体質吸収促進作用に関しては，既に本誌第8巻11号及び第10巻12号に於て述べたところである。而してこの吸収促進作用は，水晶体嚢が再び癒着しないように充分に截開されるか，或は外傷によつて破砕された後でなければ，現れて来ないことは前報に於て繰返し述べたところである。又初報に於て述べた副作用（虹彩毛様体炎）の点に就ては，その後の諸症例に於て全く再会せず，尚又，その他の副作用も全く認めなかつたものである。それ故本報に於ては，これらの諸点は省略し，実験例のみ説明したいと思う。

Two cases of complicated cataract were treated by instillation of "Succus Cineraria Mar-tima" after incision of each eye was performed respectively. Because this eye lotion is not effective if the capsule of crystalline lens is not incised sufficiently and clouded lenticular masses are not laid bare in the anterior chmber.

Case 1 ; A 39-year old woman who suffered from a cataract in the left eye these three years. Photo 1 shows the clinical findings in the first examination of the eye. Photo 2 after incision, Photo 3 after 12 days of instillation, Photo 4 after 32 days, Photo 5 after39 days and Photo 6 after 44 days respectively.
