Succus Cineraria Maritimaの外傷性白内障に対する効果は既に藤山教授等により屡々発表されて居りますが，私は今回米国Walker Phar-macal Co．並びに科研薬の厚意により本剤を初期老人性白内障に対し使用する機会を得たのでその一部を報告する。
The author carried out local using of succus cineraria maritima for 10 cases of senile ca-taract in the early stage and observed them for 3 months to 1.2 years.
The results are as follows.
1. Subjective symptom ; improved in 7 cases and invariable in 3 cases.
2. Objective symptom ; improved in 3 cases and invariable in 7 cases.
3. Visual acuity ; improved in 4 cases, invariable in 5 cases and worsened in 1 case.
There has been no ill effect observed to date.
