調節グラフの試み及びその実際的応用

A Probation of accommodation graph and its practical use.

　屈折異常の矯正の実際は他覚的方法の外，自覚的には矯正視力検査，眼鏡処方等検眼レンズを取り換えて最も視力の出る所を探せばよいのであるから一見簡単なようであるがそれがなかなかに難しく，視力の出ない時など文字通り暗中模索の思いがして眼科医を志した当初には一応誰もが苦労する所であると思う。併し之は被検眼の屈折及び調節状態を理解把握すれば自ら解決される所であつてその手段として調節状態を図示すること試みたが，それ以来之を実地に応用してかなり便利を感じているのでここに発表し，諸賢諸先輩の御批判を抑ぎたいと思う。

Standard eye was considered, which can accommodate itself to both positive direction and negative direction, that is, both forwards and backwards from the eye, and which has infinite accommodation distance at the accommodation O. The relation between the accommodation dis-tance and the accommodation extent of the standard eye is similar to the relation between the focal distance and the diopter of the lens. Its graphic representation is hyperbolic. All types of accmmodation of emmetropia, hypertropia and myopia can be reduced to the accommodation of the standard eye.
