眼疾患に対する細隙灯検査法の研究—第2報 涙点に関する研究

Ⅰ．緒言

　流涙症の原因に対して涙点の占める位置は大きく，Graefe, Hippel，足利，Rosengren, Faza-kas等も述べた如く，涙小管ボンプ作用に関しても涙点の機能が重視されるところであつて，種々の涙点障碍が流涙の原因となることは古くよりの多くの記載でも明かである。然し乍ら涙点の細隙灯所見に関しては従来殆んど詳細な記載が見られない。私はこの涙点の機能的重要性を鮮明にすべく，こゝに細隙灯検査法を応用して種々の検討を加え，殊に正常涙点の形態的所見を鼻性及びトラコーマ性流涙症に於ける涙点所見と比較し，且つ従来行われなかつた諸種の細隙灯微測法を利用して涙点とその附近の計測値を検討した結果，流涙症に関して興味ある知見を得ることが出来た。

Mean diameter of the normal lacrimal points is 0.29mm, the shapesof which are small and round or dotty in young age, whose locrimal papillaries have sm000th surface, be coming de-formable after 20 years old. The lacrimal points are apt to be large in old age, and the lac-rimal papillaries elevate very high.

In the patient of epiphora, the lacrimal points are apt to enlarge and deviate from the ori-ginal place by the insufficiency of the lacrimal sphinctor.
