I．細隙灯顕微鏡の種類

　細隙灯検査法は細隙灯による特殊の光を当てて，これを生体顕微鏡で立体観察するのであり正確には細隙灯生体顕微鏡法Slitlamp Biomicro-scoplaと云われる。

　細隙灯検査は眼科臨床に際して，現在では最早必須の重要検査法の1であつて，視力検査，眼底検査と共に日常欠く事の出来ない基礎的検査であることは己に常識となつている。しかし，本法の実際手技に就いては従来余り系統的の記載がなく，近年細隙灯の種類もかなり多くなつているので，その取捨選択にも迷うほどであるので，少しくその使用法，所見の読み等に就いて簡単に系統的解説をすることとする。

As to the available condition of an usable slitlamp microscope practically utilized by ocu-lists, the author recommends that, the character, being possibly to show a clear double reflexion-line in the anterior lens capsule observed by a microscope and regular light prism projected by a slitlamp.

Therefore, the observing methods with Goldmann's type, which employed as same effect as by the free type old Zeiss system or the concentric focussing type by Comberg and Littmann system, were described. Furthermore, from the clinical use on the normal and pathological conjunctiva, biomicroscopical findings of the cases noted of folliculosis, initial trachomatous pannus, total old pannus and glaucomatous filtering scar after the trephining and iridenceisis etc., were presented.
