Cataract Extraction with a New Cryoceps (Alcon)

緒言

　白内障手術は近年著しい進歩を遂げ，より安全に行なうことができるようになつてきた。その理由の一つには冷凍手術器械の開発をあげねばならない。わが国では，著者の一人丸尾が大場とともに冷凍手術器械を試作し，それを用いてはじめて白内障手術を行なつて以来^1），種々の報告がなされ^2），現在白内障手術は冷凍摘出法が主流を占めていると思われ，とくにAmoils冷凍手術装置^3）が好んで用いられているようである^4）。私どもも白内障手術にはAmoils冷凍手術装置を用いているが，この度Alcon社より発売された冷凍手術装置Cryoceps 2 System 3300を使用する機会を得たので，その使用経験について述べてみたいと思う。

Intracapsular cataract extraction was per-formed in 69 eyes with the use of cryosurgical technique (cryosurgical unit system 3300 cryo-ceps 2, ALCON). The cases consisted of 64 senile cataract, 4 complicated cataract and 1 dislocated lens. The outcome was satisfactory and the instrument is regarded to be as good as the Amoils cryosurgical unit.
