網膜細隙灯検査用凸非球面前置レンズ

An Aspheric Plus Preset Lens for Slitlamp Fundus Microscopy

　著者ら^1）は先に凹前置レンズを非球面化しその良好な結果を発表したが，今回は凸非球面前置を試作した。元来この原型はEvansやEnriquezなどであるが，その特長を高く評価したEl Bayadiにより，一般にElBayadi lensと呼ばれている。しかし彼やRotter, Rosenなどの主張にもかかわらずあまり流布されていない。これは知られざるために，専門書にも多少の誤解があるからであろう。しかし著者はHrubyレンズが一般に使用され，RosenのいうようになぜEl Bayadiレンズを用いないかと考えるものである。その理由は，

1）観察視野が大きい。原則的に瞳孔が小さくても良く見え，現在の細隙灯顕微鏡の機構を用いるとEl Ba—yadiのいうように6乳頭径位見えて（ただし機構を変え得ればなにもこの数値にこだわる必要はない），Hru—byにくらべはるかに広い視野が見え，病巣の検出に非常に便利である。

With the recently developped fabrication te-chnique for optical aspheric surface at Nihon Kogaku Co. Ltd., the authors designed and fab-ricated an aspheric plus preset lens for slit la-mp fundus microscopy with multilayered co-ating and describe the merit and clinical use of this lens. Results of general clinical appli-cation of their lens was so satisfactory by re-duction of aberrations and large field of obser-vation and observations of fundus with optical section was also so fascinating. The authors estimate the plus preset lens (El Bayadi lens) for biomicroscopy of fundus higher than Hruby lens.
