若年性家族性黒内障性白痴患者の空胞化リンパ球について

Fine Structure of Abnormal Lymphocytes in Peripheral Blood of Juvenile Amaurotic Family Idiocy

緒言

　本疾患における末梢血リンパ球の空胞化現象については多くの報告がある^{4）〜8）12）〜14）17）}。著者らは最近，臨床的に本症と診断された患者の，末梢血リンパ球の光学顕微鏡および電子顕微鏡による検索を行なつた。リンパ球にみられる空胞や顆粒と細胞内小器官の関係について報告する。

The diagnosis of juvenile amaurotic family idiocy was made on a 15-year-old boy, whose parents were cousins. The patient had a qua-driplegia, retarded mental development and dyslalia. The ophthalmoscopic examination re-vealed pigmentary degeneration of the retinaand the normal optic disc on both eyes. The retinal vessels were attenuated.

The light microscopic study of the lymphocy-tes of the peripheral blood showed many vacuoles in the cytoplasm. Some of the vacuoles contained a granule within them.
