Waldenström's Macroglobulinemiaにおける眼球の組織学的所見—特に静脈のソーセージ様変化について

Studies on Venous Changes in Macroglobulinemia

緒言

　Waldenström's macroglobulinemiaのさいにみられる多彩な網膜変化のうち，静脈の怒張，蛇行とともに本症に特有な血管変化として，astring of sausage, sausage like appearanceなどと形容される静脈のくびれがしばしば認められる。著者は第1報^7）において，網膜，虹彩等にみられる本症の変化につき報告したが，今回は網膜静脈にみられるこれらの変化を，他疾患の場合を参考にして，形態的変化を中心として，螢光眼底撮影による所見などを加味し，いわゆる"くびれ"の問題につき考察したので報告する。

Blood and serum hyperviscosity gives rise to venous changes characterized by "sausage sh-aped" or "a string of sausage" appearance.

For clasification of pathogenesis of this pecu-liar changes, morphological and angiographic studies were done.

The serial sections of the retina obtained fr-om a case of macroglobulinemia showed dipp-ing of the vein toward the choroidal side. Irre-versible caliber changes, coresponding to "a st-ring of sausage" were confirmed in the vascu-lar tree prepared from the case of macroglobu-linemia.
