A total of 65 cases with diabetic retinopathy were studied by means of fluorescein fundus angiography and by routine photography to correlate the findings by both methods. 42 ins-tances belonged to the group II after the clas-sification by Scott and the remaining 23 inst-ances to the group III.
1. The rate of appearance of abnormal fluoro-graphic findings that lack counterparts in color fundus photographs was 74% for cases belogingto group II (Scott) and 100% for group III. Extravasation of the dye was the most pro-minent fluorographic feature and was observed in 50% of cases belonging to group II and in 100% in group III.
