はじめに
視野障害は基本的には次の三つに分類される。
(1) Contraction (抑制)
The concentric contraction of the visual field has been found to imply, nearly always, a ge-neral or widespread depression of the field (ge-neral depression type) rather than a mere rest-riction of the peripheral limits (true contrac-tion).
In a case of arachnoiditis, the peripheral vi-sual field was markedly restricted at the time of first admission. During the course of clinical recovery, peripheral depressed field "rose up" gradually resulting in general depression type of the visual field.
