眼精疲労に対するアデノシン点眼薬の臨床的効果について

Use of Adenosine Ophthalmic Solution for Asthenopia

I．はじめに

　従来ATPは眼科領域において注射剤または腸溶錠として，眼精疲労，調節衰弱，外眼筋麻痺などに用いられ，認むべき効果が確認されており，さらに角膜保存に対する有効性，あるいは筋注による網膜血管の拡張効果などが知られている。このATPを点眼液として眼局所に用いて同様の効果を期待することはまだ試みられていない新しい課題であるものと考えられる。

　著者はATPの前駆体であるアデノシン0.03％を含有する点眼液を作り，これを都立豊島病院眼科外来患者のうち，特に眼精疲労を主訴とするものに適用し，その治療効果，副作用などについて観察したので，その結果をここに報告すする。

Twenty-eight patients with severe asthenopic complaints were treated by topical administ-ration of 0.03 % adenosine ophthalmic solution to be instilled thrice daily. 12 cases, or 43% of treated subjects, responded favourably to the treatment.

In five cases with weakness of accommoda-tion, topical adenosine treatment resulted in improvement in power of accommodation and in disappearance of asthenopic complaints.

Except for transient conjunctival hyperemia in 2 cases (7%), no untoward side effects were noted throughout the observation period.
