嚢内摘出術後早期離床例の遠隔成績について

On Follow-Up Study of Cases of Early Removal from Bed after Cataract Surgery

I．緒言

　白内障嚢内摘出術後早期離末例について，退院時の結果はすでに報告^1）したが，今回はこの報告例について遠隔成績を調査し，術後の経過を観察し，早期離床がどのような影響を与えているかを検討した。

A clinical survey was conducted on 102 eyes in 81 cases, who underwent cataract surgery with minimum postsurgical confinement in bed (less than 24 hours), after an interval of 18 months to 5 years following surgery. While overall visual acuity had improved during the dismissal from hospital and the time of survey, slight deterioration in corrected vision had taken place in 20 eyes. The deterioration could be as-cribed to other reasons other than cataract sur-gery and, moreover, were of minor degree. Visual field was normal in all studied cases. The intraocular pressure also stayed within nor-mal range in all cases.
