白内障術後早期離床例の合併症について

Early Removal from Bed after Cataract Surgery

Ⅰ．緒言

　白内障嚢内摘出術後，長期間強度な安静を保たせないで，早い時期に離床させることが術後の経過に悪い影響を与えることなく可能であるためにはいかにしたらよいかを考按し，実施したので報告する。

　この目的を達するためには，（1）手術方法に対する考按，（2）術前後における患者に対する指導，処置，薬物療法についての考按，（3）看護法の改善などを基礎として行なつた。

Cases have been followed up after being al-lowed to walk about with uniocular bandage 18 to 24 hours following intracapsular cataract surgery. Out of 219 eyes hitherto operated upon, the formation of anterior chamber has been recog-nized on the next day of surgery in every case. The visual acuity after removal of cataract averaged 0.53 and did not seem to be handica-pped by the short period of strict confinement to bed described above. With adequate method of operation, nursing technique and medical treatment, early removal from bed can be pra-ctised as safe procedure after every uneventful intracapsular cataract surgery.
