I.はじめに
定性的検査法として発達したAスコープ法は,超音波診断法の基本となるものであるが,そのエコーグラムは再現性に乏しく,組織構造の分析に用いるには熟練を要し,その判定基準に普遍性を欠く弱点がある。本検査法の定量化は,1966年以来,日本超音波医学会における緊急基本課題であつて,そのためはまず第一に,現有診断装置の性能の定量化が先行しなければならない。
For the quantification of ultrasonic diagnosis with A scope, the sensitivity of the apparatus should be considered first. A standard test piece consisting of liquid paraffin, castor oil and air-less water was prepared at 30 C. The sensitivi-ty most suitable for the clinical ophthalmology was called 0 dB, which was used as the refe-rence standard in the so-called "sensitivity to-nography" in which several pictures with the sensitivity of the apparatus shifted by several dB were taken. Clinical experiments were car-ried out based on such concept. This method is quite necessary for the quantitative and non-deviated diagnosis.
