全身症状を伴つた進行性強角膜周囲炎と思われる1症例について

A Case of Sclerokeratitis Progressiva with Systemic Manifestations

I．緒言

　進行性強角膜周囲炎の症例は，現在までにかなり多数報告されているが，最近われわれは，いくつかの全身症状を伴い，きわめて悪性の経過をたどつた進行性強角膜周囲炎類似の症例に遭遇したのでここに報告する。

A description is given of a case of progressive sclerokeratitis of bilateral occurrence in a 20-year-old female. Leucocytosis, slight fever, maxil-lar sinuitis and swelling of lymph glands of migratory nature accompanied the condition during the follow-up period of two and a half years. The left eye had to be enucleated due to acute exacerbation induced by blunt trauma. Chronic, nonspecific granulomatous inflamma-tion was confirmed through histopathological studies of the eyeglobe. It is presumed that systemic septic condition has been responsible for the causation of the progressive sclerokeratitis.
