Inosine has been administered as 1% ophthal-mic solution tablet (each contains Inosin 200 mg), intravenous injection (2% 20ml) or subcon-junctive injection (0.5ml=20mg Inosine) supple-mented by peroral or parenteral route to a total of 95 cases with abnormal accommodation, cor-neal diseases or internal or external ophthalmo-plegias. Favorable response was obtained in the majority of cases with weakness of accommo-dation (46 cases), with corneal diseases includ-ing herpes of the cornea (17 cases) and in cases with internal ophthalmoplegia of traumatic nature (10 cases).
