I．緒言

　本症は1880年，神経学者Bournevilleにより，はじめて独立の疾患として報告された。のちに1890年皮膚科医Pringleにより，本症に脂腺腫の合併することが報告され，さらに眼底に腫瘍が発見されたのは1921年眼科医van der Hoeve^1）をもつてはじめとする。それ以来本症は，顔面皮膚の脂腺腫，癲癇発作，精神薄弱がいわゆるtriasとなり診断上重要となつた。その一つや二つを欠くか，さらにtrias以外の症候のみからなる不完全型も現われて，本症はめずらしい疾患ではなくなつた。著者は最近triasを有する本症の典型例に遭遇したので報告する。

A report was made of a case with typical findings of Bourneville-Pringle's phakomatosis.The patient was a 13-year-old male who had had recurrent epileptic seizures since the age of 1 year and who had developed adenoma sebaceum on the face since the age of 5 years. Mental deficiency was also present (IQ value :51).

Typical tumor was detected in the left fundus through ophthalmological examinations. It was oval in shape, about two-thirds the size of the disc and showed dull yellowish-white appearance.
