正常家兎眼の眼屈折状態度数分布曲線について

Distribution Curve of the State of Refraction in Rabbits.

　本論文は昭和17年に実験を行ない，17年10月神谷が召集になり，実験データーを満州に持参して北満の地に於いて記し，日眼に投稿して昭和18年6，月28日に受付けられたが，戦時中のため未発表のまま放置されていたものである。内容は白色家兎343匹，685眼について，その眼屈折状態度数分布曲線並びに角膜湾曲度度数分布曲線を調べ，家免眼の屈折度の中央値は略＋2.0Dであり，これは人間の正視に対応するもので，この点からすると家兎にも正視，近視，遠視が存在し，その度数分布曲線は，幼若家兎群では度数分布曲線は正規分布に近いが，成熟家兎群になるにつれて人間と同じ様にそれが高峯分布を示す様になる。これに対して角膜弩曲度度数分布曲線は幼若家兎群も正常家兎群と同じ様に正規分布を示す。これらの事は人間と同じ事であり，人間における眼屈折度度数分布曲線が中央に集中して所謂高峯分布を示す現象は人間の社会環境がしからしめるものではなくて動物学的な自然である。

343 albino rabbits (685 eyes) were studied for the state of refraction and corneal curva-ture. The median value for refraction stood at +2.0D which corresponds to the emmetro-pic state in humans. In this sense there exi-sted emmetropia, myopia and hyperopia also in rabbits. While the distribution curve in young rabbits took a normal distribution pa-ttern, a tendency to assume peak pattern as in humans appeared in adult rabbis. The cor-neal curvature was found to assume normal distribution pattern in young as well as in adult rabbits.
