Parinaud's Syndrome, A Case Report

I．まえがき

　四丘体領域の病変に際して，垂直注視麻痺（Parinaud症候群）が屡々認められることは，良く知られている所である。

　著者等は今回，中脳水道の閉塞のために脳室の拡大を来し，本症候群を示した1例を観察する機会を得，更に新しい眼球運動機能の検査法であるベクトルEOGをこの症例につき行なつたので，その結果と共にここに報告する。

A report is presented over a case of Parina-ud's syndrome in a 27-year-old man who, revealed marked restriction of upward eye movement with Argyll-Robertson's pupillary phenomenon. In this case, the cause of the oculomotor disturbance was presumed from patient's past history as the obstruction of mesencephalic aqueous duct after serous meningitis.
