Argon laser photocoagulation of central serous retinopathy

緒　言

　増田型中心性網膜炎に対する光凝固は，西独キセノン凝固器を用いて（Wessing^1）1967, Riehm^2）1967，三井ら^3）1969，塚原^4）1969，清水・戸張^5）1969，栗本^6）1969,Gass^7）1971,Wessing^8）1971，塚原ら^9）1972,Harris^10）1974,Annesleyら^11）1974，福地ら^12）1975，三木ら^13）1977），東独キセノン凝固器を用いて（戸張^14）1972，斎藤・藤岡^15）1972，戸張^16）1973,Heydenreichら^17）1974，Fuhrmcister　＆　Lohse^18）1974,Heydenreich　ら^19）1975，原田ら^20）1978）そしてルビーレーザーを利用して（瀬戸川・松戸^21）1973,Watzkeら^22）1974，瀬戸川ら^23）1974,Kaluznyら^24）1975）広く実施されている。

Results of argon laser treatment (Coherent Radiation, System 900) in 15 cases of central serous retinopathy have been presented. All cases of central serous retinopathy with the leakage site lying more than 150 micron away from the fovea were submitted to argon laser photocoagulation. The leakage points of eight cases of central serous retinopathy lay less than distant over one-half disc diameter from the fovea and photocoagula-ted without adverse effects. Argon laser photoco-agulation has therefore wider range of indication as regards the treatment of this condition.
