若年糖尿網膜症について

On juvenile diabetic retinopathy

　一応，30歳代以下の糖尿病について扱つてある。Larsen，小島道夫氏等の所説によれば若壮年型という理である。

Studies were made on the juvenile diabetic retinopathy under 40 years of age.

1. Diabetic retinopathy was found in 2 cases in the teens, 7 in the twenties and 9in the thirties of age, amounting to 23 in number including cases of perivasculitis, reti-nities centralis, exudation and hemorrhage of the vitreous body which were observed in the age group of thirties.

2. The stages of retinopathy at the first examination were as follows : St. Ⅰ (55%), Ⅲ (27%), and Ⅴ (18%), while at the last examination in the course of treatment, St. Ⅰ (41%),Ⅲ (22%), Ⅳ (22%) and Ⅴ (15%). The incidence of the cases severer than St.
