白内障術前検査としての網膜感電力検査

Clinical Phosphene Test for Cataract Eyes

緒言

　1963年，藤井^1）はelectric phosphene現象を利用し，網膜感電力の簡便測定法を発表し，次いで，これを白内障術前検査に応用して^2）その成績を報告している。著者等は，ここ数年間，白内障術前検査として，網膜感電力検査の追試を行なつてきたが，その結果，本法は簡便であり，ERGの探知し得ないある種の疾患を予知し得ることが可能であり，白内障術前検査としてERGと組み合わせて必ず行なうべき最少の検査法であると考えるに至つたので，ここに追試の成績を報告する。

The apparatus of Fujii for simple clinical phosphene test was used preoperatively for 84 successfully operated cataract eyes. The conclu-sions are as follows,

1) The apparatus is very easy to handle and its function is comparable to ERG although it has a defect that the test result depends upon patient's answer.

2) Some stages of optic nerve atrophy impos-sible for ERG to foresee can be detected by clinical phosphene test.

3) The simple apparatus should be used with ERG always before cataract operation.
