網膜剥離に関する網膜感電力検査の応用

Use of a Simple Electrical Phosphene Test for Patients with Retinal Detachment

　網膜剥離に関して網膜感電力検査を行なつた結果について報告した。

　1）片眼だけの特発性網膜剥離の際，患眼のみならず健康な他眼の感電力も低下していることがあり，この傾向は特に高度近視の揚合に著しい。このことは，網膜剥離と関連をもつなんらかの素因（網膜活力の低下）を両眼ともに有していることを端的に物語るものではないかと考えられる。

　2）網膜剥離眼で術前の網膜感電力がよいものは，術後（退院時）の視力もよいという傾向がある。また，術前視力と術後視力とを比べた場合，感電力がわるいものほど視力は悪化する例が多い。つまり，網膜剥離の予後推定の参考として網膜感電力検査が役立ち得ることを認めた。検査法が極めて簡便である点を強調し網膜感電力検査の臨床的実用価値を論じた。

A Simple Electrical Phosphene Test') was employed for patients with retinal detachment. In a patient with the idiopathic retinal deta-chment (if he has it only in one eye), not only the Index Number (of Electrical Phosphene) of the diseased eye, but also the Index Number of the healthy fellow eye were found to be lower (III, II or I), sometimes. This tendency was remarkable in high myopic eyes. It might mean that such a patient would have the disposition (the retina with poor vitality) in both eyes.
