Abstract. Purpose:To report the effect of corneal collagen crosslinking on bullous keratopathy. Cases and Method:This prospective study was made on 7 eyes of 7 cases who received corneal collagen crosslinking for bullous keratopathy. The age averaged 73 years. Bullous keratopathy was due to secondary glaucoma in 3 eyes, laser iridotomy in 2 eyes, and cataract surgery in 2 eyes. Cases were followed up for one month after treatment. Results:There was no significant change in visual acuity or intraocular pressure. Central corneal thickness averaged 731.3.±100.1μm before treatment, 650.4±76.3μm one week, and 649.0±97.0μm one month after treatment. The differences were significant(p<0.05). Subjective pain decreased in severity and frequency after treatment. Conclusion:Corneal collagen crosslinking was effective for corneal edema and pain in eyes with bullous keratopathy.
