ドライアイに対するジクアホソルナトリウム点眼液3％の有効性の検討

Efficacy of 3％ diquafosol sodium ophthalmic solution as treatment for the dry eye

要約　目的：ドライアイに対するジクアホソルナトリウム3％点眼液の効果の報告。対象と方法：過去4か月間に受診したドライアイ患者25例25眼を対象とした。男性4例，女性21例で，平均年齢は65歳である。ジクアホソルナトリウム3％点眼液の点眼を1日6回行い，54.1±26.7日間の経過を観察した。結果：数量化した前眼部生体染色所見と涙液層破壊時間は，投与後に有意に改善した。視覚的アナログ尺度に換算した自覚所見のうち，「目が乾いた感じがする」と「光をまぶしく感じる」の2項目は，投与後に有意に改善した（各p＝0.0003，p＝0.0001）。局所刺激感のため2例が点眼を中止した。結論：ジクアホソルナトリウム3％点眼液は，短期間の観察でドライアイに有効であった。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report the outcome of treatment with 3％ diquafosol sodium ophthalmic solution for dry eye. Cases and Method：This study was made on 25 eyes of 25 patients who visited us in a 4-month period. The series comprised 4 males and 21 females. The age averaged 65 years. All the cases received 3％ diquafosol sodium ophthalmic solution to be instilled 6 times daily. Cases were followed up for an average of 54.1±26.7 days. Results：Digitalized data of anterior segment staining and tear break-up time significantly improved after treatment. Out of visual analog scales of subjective findings, significant improvements were shown regarding sensitivity to light and irritated dry eye. Instillation was discontinued in 2 cased due to topical irritation. Conclusion：Instillation of 3％ diquafosol sodium ophthalmic solution was effective for dry eye on a short-time basis.
