Abstract. Purpose:To report a case of limbal dermoid in both eyes. Case and Findings:A 17-year-old female presented with limbal dermoid in both eyes that had been diagnosed 30 months before. She had no systemic disorders. Both eyes had myopia of about 8 diopters. Corrected visual acuity was 1.0 right and 1.5 left. Both eyes showed an ovoid protruded tumor at the limbus. It was 6 mm across in the right eye and located at 6 o'clock posision. It was 7 mm across in the left eye located at 5 o'clock position. A few hairs were protruding from the tumor in both eyes, leading to the tentative diagnosis of limbal dermoid. Both eyes were treated by resection of tumor and lamellar keratoplasty using one fresh donor eye. The resected tumor was diagnosed with dermoid cyst histopathologically. She is doing well with corrected visual acuity of 1.5 and 1.2 respectively. Conclusion:This case illustrates that dermoid cyst may involve both eyes in a person without systemic disorders.
