眼科臨床実習での電子教材の使用と医学生側の評価

要約　目的：電子教材を使った眼科臨床教育の記述と，学生側の評価。内容と方法：医学部5年生用に電子教材を作成した。内容は，医局紹介，実習日程，疾患アトラス，検査・診察手技・手術の動画などである。学生側はこれに実習で遭遇した症例やデータ，自己学習問題の回答を入力して提出する。2週間の実習最終日にこれをプロジェクターで写し，指導医と実習責任者に説明する。実習終了後にアンケートによる調査を行い，学生に評価させる。結果：電子教材を使うことで臨床実習の効果が増大し，コンピュータを活用する訓練が期待できた。31名の医学生中71％が非常によい，29％がよいと回答した。結論：眼科臨床実習に電子教材を使う方法は，眼科臨床教育とコンピュータ技術教育の両面で有用であった。学生側の評価は，電子教材を使わなかった前年度の結果より高かった。

Abstract.　Purpose：To describe our computer-assisted teaching program of clinical ophthalmology and its evaluation by medical students. Methods：A teaching program of clinical ophthalmology was designed for the personal computer of 31 undergraduates in the fifth academic year. It contained atlas of eye diseases,methods of ophthalmological examination,and videographed scenes of eye surgery etc. The students are required to input actually observed cases and to give answers to questions prepared for self study. Results：This teaching program resulted in enhancing the quality of clinical education. It was also useful in computer training. Out of 31 students,the program was evaluated as excellent by 71％,fair by 29％,and poor by none. Conclusion：Our computer-assisted teaching program was useful for clinical training and for advancing computer literacy. Its evaluation by students was much better than the previous year when this program was not available.
