Abstract. Purpose:To report a case of allergic granulomatosis and angiitis(Churg-Strauss syndrome)presenting with conjunctival nodules. Case:A 54-year-old woman presented with swollen left eye. Her left eye showed subconjunctival nodules, suggestive of benign lymphoma. The nodule diminished after 3 weeks of topical betamethasone. The treatment had to be switched to fluorometholone due to steroid glaucoma. The nodules disappeared 7 months later. They recurred 17 months after onset. They were dissected after topical treatment proved futile. Pathological studies led to the diagnosis of granulomatosis and angiitis(Churg-Strauss syndrome). Conclusion:This case illustrates that conjunctival tumors may be due to this clinicopathological entity.
