要約　目的：インドシアニングリーン（ICG）を使った黄斑円孔手術後の残留ICGとその代謝経路の検索。対象と方法：特発性黄斑円孔10眼に対しICG併用の内境界膜切除術を行い，その1週，1か月，3か月後に近赤外光撮影と画像解析ソフトで蛍光輝度の変化を検索した。結果：黄斑円孔は全例で閉鎖し，8眼で視力が改善した。残留ICGは手術後緩慢に消失した。測定した5か所で蛍光輝度は一様に低下し，その低下速度には眼底の部位による差がなかった。結論：今回の所見は，網膜の残留ICGが軸索輸送により代謝されていることを示していない。

Abstract.　Purpose：To evaluate the kinetics of indocyanine green（ICG）following macular hole surgery. Material and Method：Ten eyes of idiopathic macular hole underwent ICG-assisted peeling of internal limiting membrane. Residual ICG was recorded and quantitated 1 week,1 month and 3 months later by infrared fundus photography and image-analysis software. Results： Macular hole closed in all the eyes. Visual acuity improved in 8 eyes. Residual ICG gradually decreased after surgery. The rate of decrease was the same in different fundus areas. Conclusion：Axoplasmic transport may not be involved in disappearance of residual ICG after surgery.
