頻回交換型非球面ソフトコンタクトレンズの使用経験

Clinical evaluation of frequent-replacement aspherical soft contact lens

　非球面デザインを採用した2週間頻回交換ソフトコンタクトレンズを臨床的に評価した。27例54眼での臨床試験では，全症例で満足のいくフィッティングと良好な視力が得られ，本レンズ装用による眼障害は生じなかった。60眼でのコントラスト視力検査では，球面レンズよりも本レンズのほうがより良好な視力を得ることが多かった。30眼での波面センサーによる定量的解析では，球面レンズよりも本レンズのほうが球面収差が減少する傾向があった。この頻回交換ソフトコンタクトレンズは，矯正効果と安全性が高く，臨床的に有用であると判断された。

　We made a prospective study of a two-week replacement aspherical soft contact lens. In a consecutive series of 54 eyes of 27 cases,all the cases were satisfied with fitting and attained good corrected visual acuity. No serious compllication was met with throughout. Examination of contrast visual acuity in 60 eyes showed a higher frequency of good visual acuity with this aspherical lens than with conventional contact lens. by quantative analysis of wavefront sensor,this aspherical lens showed a greater tendency for spherical aberration to decrease than conventional contact lens. It is concluded that this frequent-replacement aspherical soft contact lens is clinically useful because of its safety and efficiency in correcting refraction anomaly.
