目的：シリコーンハイドロゲルソフトコンタクトレンズを化学消毒剤で処理したあとの物理化学的検索。方法：コンタクトレンズとしてO₂オプティクス^(R)各4枚を6種の化学消毒剤と生理的食塩水で処理した。結果：総計28枚のコンタクトレンズには形状，外観，色調に差がなく，直径，ベースカーブ，頂点屈折力，含水率，光線透過率は厚生労働省の基準を満たしていた。結論：シリコーンハイドロゲルソフトコンタクトレンズは化学消毒剤による処理で変化しなかった。

Purpose：To evaluate physicochemical changes of silicone hydrogel soft contact lens after treatment by chemical disinfectants. Material and Method：Four pieces each of silicone hydrogel soft contact lens was treated by 6 chemical disinfectants and saline solution. Results：All the 28 thus treated contact lenses showed no changes in appearance,shape,or color. Lens diameter,base curve,back vertex power,water content and light transmittance met the criteria by Ministry of Health,Labor and Welfare of Japan. Conclusion：No change was induced in silicone hydrogel soft contact lens after treatment by 6 types of chemical disinfectant.
