2004年の高知大学医学部眼科におけるぶどう膜炎の臨床統計

Review of uveitis at Kochi Medical School in 2004

目的：2004年に高知大学医学部眼科を初診または再診で訪れたぶどう膜炎患者144例の診療録に基づく解析。結果：男性45例（31％），女性99例（69％）であり，男女比は1：2.2であった。年齢は8～89歳，平均57.4歳であった。9例が片眼性，135例が両眼性であった。ぶどう膜炎の病型は，分類不能41％，サルコイドーシス22％，ベーチェット病11％, Vogt-小柳-原田病6％であった。全例にステロイド薬点眼の既往，48％にステロイド薬全身投与の既往，42％に抗緑内障薬投与の既往があった。43％に白内障手術の既往，18％に硝子体手術の既往，6％に緑内障手術の既往があった。結論：他施設と同様に，当眼科でもいわゆる3大ぶどう膜炎の頻度が高く，約半数の症例でステロイド薬の全身投与と合併症に対する手術が行われていた。

Purpose：To review 144 patients of uveitis seen at our Department of Ophthalmology during 2004. Results：The series comprised 45 males（31％）and 99 females（69％）,resulting in male-to-female ratio of 1：2.2. Their age ranged from 8 to 89 years,average 57.4 years. Nine cases were unilaterally and 135 were bilaterally affected. The series comprised unclassified uveitis 41％,sarcoidosis 22％,Behçet disease 11％,and Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease 6％. All the cases had received topical corticosteroid and 42％ had received medication for glaucoma. Cataract surery had been performed in 43％,vitreous surgery in 18％,and glaucoma surgery in 6％. Conclusion：Similar to reports from other institutions,our present series had high incidences of three major entities of uveitis. About one-half of patients had received systemic corticosteroid and ocular surgery for complications.
