クラミジア結膜炎6例の検討

Review of six cases of chlamydial conjunctivitis

目的：成人型封入体結膜炎の臨床像と経過などの検討。対象：核酸検出法で封入体結膜炎の診断が確定した6症例7眼を対象とし，回顧的に検索した。男性2例2眼，女性4例5眼である。結果：眼脂，充血，下眼瞼結膜の堤防状ないし数珠状濾胞が全例の経過中にあった。1例のみが初診時に封入体結膜炎と臨床診断された。発症から治癒までの期間は160±66日（平均値±標準偏差）であった。結論：本疾患は発症初期には特徴的な濾胞が出現せず，他疾患との鑑別が困難であった。診断が確定するまでは適切な治療が行われず，結膜炎が遷延化する傾向が多かった。

Purpose：To report the clinical features of adult-type inclusion conjunctivitis. Cases：This retrospective study involved 7 eyes diagnosed with inclusion conjunctivitis by polymerase chain reaction. The series comprised 2 eyes of 2 males and 5 eyes of 4 females. Findings：All the cases showed discharge,hyperemia,follicles in the lower palpebral conjunctiva during the course of observation. Only one case was diagnosed with inclusion conjunctivitis at the initial visit. It took an average of 160±66 days from the onset until the clinical cure. Conclusion：Characteristic follicles were absent during the early stage of the disease,resulting in difficulty in differentiating from other clinical entities. There was a tendency for conjunctivitis to run a protracted course due to lack of proper treatment until definitive diagnosis.
