要約　目的：早期診断と治療で治癒したアカントアメーバ角膜炎の報告。症例：35歳女性が10日前からの左眼異物感で受診した。ソフトコンタクトレンズを3年前から週に1回装用していた。矯正視力は右1.2，左1.0で，左眼角膜に輪部から中央に向かう線状の混濁と細胞浸潤があった。上皮欠損はなかった。コンタクトレンズケース内部に水垢が付着していた。角膜擦過物とコンタクトレンズからアカントアメーバの栄養体が培養された。治療として頻回の角膜搔爬，イトラコナゾールの内服，ガチフロキサシン点眼などを行った。擦過物の培養は，治療開始から11日後に陰性化した。結論：アカントアメーバ角膜炎では早期治療が望ましく，このために角膜擦過物の培養など，早期に診断するための努力が必要である。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report a case of Acanthamoeba keratitis with fair outcome after early diagnosis and treatment. Case and Findings：A 35-year-old female presented with foreign body sensation in her left eye since 10 days before. She had been using soft contact lens once a week. Her corrected visual acuity was 1.2 right and 1.0 left. Her left cornea showed a linear opacity running from the limbus to the center associated with infiltration. Epithelial defect was absent. Acanthamoeba was cultured from corneal scrapings and her contact lens. She was treated by repeated corneal debridement, systemic itraconazole, topical gatifloxacin among others. Culture of corneal scraping became negative on day 11 after start of treatment. Conclusion：Early treatment is essential for Acanthamoeba keratitis. Culture of corneal scrapings is recommended in suspected cases for the sake of early diagnosis.
