5％食塩水と20％エタノールを用いたLASEKの術後成績の比較検討

LASEKでの角膜上皮剝離に，7眼では5％食塩水，7眼では20％エタノールを使い，3か月間の経過を観察した。両群ともに術中合併症はなく，術後の疼痛，角膜浸潤，裸眼視力，矯正視力，矯正誤差，角膜厚，屈折変動，Hazeについて両群間に有意差がなかった。上皮の創傷が治癒するまでの日数は，食塩水群が2.7±0.5日，エタノール群が3.9±0.7日であり，有意差があった（p＝0.0038）。上皮剝離に要する時間は，両群間に有意差がなかった。5％食塩水を使う上皮剝離は，20％エタノールよりも創傷治癒が早く，組織内脱水が軽度であると推定され，有用であると結論された。

We performed LASEK refractive surgery on 14 eyes. Epithelial flap was made using 5％ saline in 7 eyes and 20％ ethanol in 7 eyes. There was no intraoperative complication in either group. During 3 months after surgery,there was no difference between the two groups regarding：pain,corneal infiltration,visual acuity with or without correction,refractive error,regression,corneal thickness,or haze. Corneal epithelialization completed after 2.7±0.5 days in saline group and 3.9±0.7 days in ethanol group. The difference was significant（p＝0.0038）. There was no difference between the two groups regarding the time needed for creation of epithelial flap. Use of 5％ saline appears to be useful due to faster wound healing and lesser corneal dehydration than 20％ ethanol.
