短期間のリハビリテーションは，患者のどのようなQuality of Lifeを改善できるか？―EQ-5Dを用いた検討

What Kinds of Quality of Life are Improved by Short-term Rehabilitation?―Analysis Based on the EQ-5D

　運動器リハビリテーション(以下，リハ)前後のquality of life(QOL)をEQ-5Dで客観的に評価した．対象は，リハを行った患者162例である．その結果，平均12日という短期間のリハによりEQ-5D効用値は，リハ施行前は0.51110±0.24087であり，施行後は0.62979±0.17379であった(p＜0.0001)．EQ-5Dの項目別の検討では，すべての項目にわたって有意な改善が認められた(p＜0.005)．

　We compared the EQ-5D QOL scores before and after the short-term rehabilitation of 162 patients with orthopaedic diseases.　Utilities of the EQ-5D scores were 0.51110±0.24087 before, and 0.62979±0.17379 after short-term rehabilitation (average interval：12 days) (p＜0.0001).　Analysis of the changes in each item of the EQ-5D showed statistically significant improvement in all five items (p＜0.005).　We concluded that short-term rehabilitation of patients with orthopaedic diseases can improve their QOL.
