ポータブル超音波診断装置を用いた青少年期野球肘検診―福島県での取り組み

Medical Examination of Elbow Injuries in Young Baseball Players Using Ultrasonography

　福島県内の小中学生310名(小学生81名，中学生229名，年齢8～15歳，平均年齢13歳)を対象にポータブル超音波診断装置を用いた野球肘検診を行った．肘痛の既往は148名47.7％の選手に認められた．超音波検査により，内側上顆の形態異常が169名54.5％，上腕骨小頭部の形態異常が4名1.3％に認められた．内側上顆の形態異常は，肘痛の既往，内側上顆の圧痛，肘関節可動域制限，および外反ストレステストと有意な関連が認められた．ポジション別では投手，捕手経験者において器質障害の発生率が高かった．

　The medical examination of elbow injuries in young baseball player was performed.　Three hundred ten young baseball players (aged 8-15 years, average 13 years) were recruited in this study, and all of them were undergone physical examination and ultrasonographic evaluation of elbow joint.　One hundred forty-eight players experienced elbow pain, and 169 players had a bony abnormality.　The history of elbow pain, local tenderness of medial epicondyle, limitation of range of motion, and medial elbow pain induced by valgus stress test were significantly associated with bony abnormality of the medial epicondyle.
