I　緒　言

　本症の発生機轉についての諸説は次の如くに大別することが出来る．

　1．S字状結腸部及び同結腸間膜の過長説

　塩田等の説，即ち先天性の原因によると説く．なお他にTarentzky．Cruster,Kanter Wilms, Luschka等は不消化物に富んだ植物性食餌を多くとる事が腸管を長大ならしむるにあずかつて力ある原因となると言つている．
